This is the newest of the city's classical music bastions, designed as a permanent home for the Orfeó Catala choral society and the OBC (Barcelona's Symphony Orchestra), although top-flight international names perform here as well. The building was designed by the award-winning Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, and its acoustics are said to be state-of-the-art.
