Frommer's Review
Immediately adjacent to the rear of the Seville Cathedral and the entrance that leads into the Patio de los Naranjos, this is the biggest, busiest, loudest, and sudsiest Irish pub in Seville. Its premises were carved from a combination of at least two antique buildings, each with massive ceiling beams and very thick walls. The resulting labyrinth includes a vine-covered open-air patio, one end of which is devoted to the busy toilets, the other to an open grill on which burgers, sausages, and steaks sizzle and fry. There are more than a few big-screen TVs for sporting events, lots of beer, and a combination of Celtic influences (both Iberian and Irish) that any genealogist would find intriguing. The menu features sandwiches, burgers, and chicken burgers, plus platters of charbroiled chicken, lamb cutlets, steaks, and Caribbean-style jerk ribs. The staff is overwhelmingly international, comprising employees from Norway, Germany, the U.S., Canada, France, Argentina, Cuba, and, of course, Spain. Naturally, there are at least four kinds of beer on tap.
If you enjoy Irish pubs and want something a bit more upscale, consider a wee dram or two at the more elegant Trinity Pub within the Hotel Inglaterra.
