Erica Bray is an award-winning journalist with 25 years of experience across television, print and digital media. She currently serves as a contributing editor for AAA's The Extra Mile.

When she’s not snorkeling with sharks in the Galápagos, sharing mint tea with Berbers in Morocco, attending culinary school in Positano, or getting lost among the temples of Cambodia, Erica is crafting stories that inspire readers to explore more deeply—and pack a little smarter.

Her work has appeared in TIME, AAA publications, Frommer's, Travelzoo, Yahoo Travel, Fodor's, Orbitz, Travelocity, The New Zealand Herald, SheBuysTravel, MSN and more.

Her storytelling has earned industry recognition, including a Silver Medal from the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association for a magazine feature on the Black Hills Powwow in South Dakota, as well as a first-place award from the Delaware Press Association as part of the team behind AAA’s The Extra Mile website.

Previously, Erica served as the Director of Destinations Content for Travelzoo, where she led a global content marketing team and partnered with global tourism boards to bring destination stories to life.

She’s especially drawn to wellness travel, family adventures, off-the-beaten-path discoveries and stories that spark cultural connection.
