Days Inn Inner Harbor ReviewIf you're willing to give up proximity to the harbor (by 2 or 3 blocks), you can get a great deal at this modern nine-story hotel, located between the 1st Mariner Arena and the convention center, 3 blocks from Camden Yards. It's got a good setup for business travelers, including rooms with large desks, microwaves, and fridges, and a well-equipped business center. All units have the comfort you expect from this chain but, after a 2007 update, a surprisingly high level of style. In fact, this hotel was chosen as the chain's No. 1 hotel in 2008. Most rooms have two double beds, though a few have space for a rollaway cot or just stretching room. Remember to ask for these. Spacious king rooms have a sleeper sofa. | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
