Frommer's Review
Built in 1838, this small home has been accommodating travelers since 1987 and is the islands' recommended destination for those seeking homey comfort and hospitality. Ideally situated on a point overlooking the lake (which has recently been surrounded by a phalanx of newer homes), the Thomas Mott has four rooms, most of which are small and decorated in a country style. Raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries from the yard are often served with morning pancakes in the included breakfast, and the innkeepers' freezer is sometimes stocked with ice cream for late-afternoon or early-evening snacks.
