This place is of the motel variety, perfect if you come by car. It is a bargain for what you get: two pools (one really special), palapas and hammocks around the place, and large, comfortable rooms. The restaurant serves good meals at moderate prices. There is free transportation to the ruins and the Caves of Balankanché during visiting hours, though you will have to take a taxi back. The hotel is on the highway 2.5km (1 1/2 miles) east of the ruins (toward Valladolid). Rooms come with two double beds.
