Part of a small international chain, the BTH, though centrally located near San Isidro’s financial center, and stocked with every possible amenity to assist the business traveler (private taxi services, 24-hour medical attention, high-speed Wi-Fi), tries its damn hardest not to feel like a business hotel. Each room type has a different theme with different amenities, like the Cosmopolitan series, which adds in-room hot tubs and saunas, or the Business Lofts, with their vaulted ceilings and free airport transfer. All rooms feature stone tile floors, with medium-tone wood paneling and contemporary photography. The downstairs restaurant Quimera and cocktail spot Madbar are far from standard business fare, with elements of molecular gastronomy. There’s even a hipster barbershop and tattoo parlor called The Beard.
