On the site of the old abbey of Ste-Croix, this museum has extensive art and archaeology collections. Exhibits date right back to the Gallo-Roman times, but the really unmissable part is the fine art section that covers paintings and sculpture from the 14th century right up to contemporary art. Works by Bonnard, Sisley, Mondrian, and Moreau are on display, as well as an impressive collection of sculptures, including Maillol, Rodin, and seven statues by Camille Claudel.
