In the heart of the colonial city, this 16th-century mansion has been restored and reopened as a hotel with all the modern amenities. For those seeking comfort among antiquity, this is an even better bet than the smaller Francés Sofitel , another restoration. On the premises is a restaurant with a terrace facing a courtyard and two bars with a view of the pool. All the bedrooms are well furnished and handsomely maintained. The choice of accommodations ranges from standard doubles to spacious suites, which can also be used as family units. The classic architecture of the original mansion has been respected, although the property has been vastly enlarged.
