The Inn at Suncadia ReviewDesigned to conjure up an old mining building, this little lodge is part of a huge master-planned resort community at the eastern end of Snoqualmie Pass. This lodge seems to be primarily a teaser for potential new-home and condo buyers, but the setting in the east-side pine forests is pretty enough, although a bit out of the way for outdoors enthusiasts planning on hiking or skiing. The golf course is the main attraction here, so despite the woodsy setting, this is more golf resort than mountain lodge. Guest rooms are named for local mines. Most overlook the golf course, and all have balconies and gas fireplaces. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
