We thought the $850 fares being offered by Air New Zealand we mentioned last week were pretty gosh darned special. But now they've gone and done something that's left our jaws on the floor--roundtrip Los Angeles to either Auckland or Sydney for only $499! Of course, with such an unbelievably, hasn't-been-seen-in-years ticket such as this one, there are bound to be hoops to jump through. But don't worry, these hoops aren't the flaming kind, just the regular ones.
First off, you have only until this Saturday, August 24, to take advantage of this deal. And secondly, you must fly on September 11 for either destination. (Since bookings are understandably soft across the board for that week for all carriers, airlines are either reducing the number of flights or reducing the price.)
