Cavtat makes a slightly cheaper alternative to sleeping in Dubrovnik, and it’s also much less crowded. You can get leads on available accommodations, including private rooms and apartments, at the tourist office. Cavtat also has several decent hotels—Hotel Croatia is one of the country’s largest, with nearly 500 rooms.
