By Bus: Popayán’s bus terminal is 1km north of the city center and has frequent service to Cali (3 hr.), as well as San Agustín (5 hr.), Tierradentro (5 hr.), Pasto (6 hr.), and other destinations around southern Colombia. Direct buses to Bogotá and Medellín depart in the evenings, both taking 11 to 12 hours.
