From summer through early fall, you can see live musicals and concerts under the stars at the SCERA Shell Theatre, 699 S. State St., in SCERA Park, Orem (tel. 801/225-2569; www.scera.org). The season usually includes several locally produced Broadway musicals, plus a variety of concerts, from pop to country to classical.
At Atchafalaya, 210 W. Center St. (tel. 801/373-9014), the bar area hosts live bands, DJs, and karaoke in a Bourbon Street atmosphere. The adjacent cafe serves Louisiana Cajun cuisine.
